Back in the day there wasn't much for us metal heads until 2005, Blitzkrieg was founded. Until this day it still stands as the only metal bar in the country. It started as a small dark bunker with about 3 or 4 die hard regulars, but our metal militia rapidly grew in numbers and eventualy our bunker had to expand. In August 2008, Blitz reopened in northern industrial with loads of new possibilities.

Much larger than the previous Blitzkrieg, we now have a larger bar with entertaining staff that will play your favourite metal at your request. In an attempt to encourage the metal scene, Blitz is the host of many events including the Windhoek Metal Festival and loads of other gigs through out the year, We also have two pool tables, secure parking, a fireplace, a headbangers ring for the brutal ones, all aurounded by metal posters, flags and millitary souvineers. Metal T-Shirts are on sale, all major titles (except Britney!).

Please do take note that this site is still under construction and that, as a consequence of that, some of the features might change in functionality, look, feel, etc. It's even possible that this site might go offline and onnline occasionally, and that some of the features will only be added later, or even removed.
